Our Story

Hi! I’m Lalit — I was born in Manchester, England, but my parents are from India. Growing up, I often heard Telugu at home but didn’t get many chances to speak or practice it outside. I wanted to understand, read, and speak Telugu better — in a way that felt fun and easy to follow.

That’s what inspired me to create Mana Telugu! It’s made for kids like me (and anyone else!) who want to stay connected to their roots, learn Telugu at their own pace, and actually enjoy the journey.

My goal with Mana Telugu is to make learning our beautiful language simpler, more exciting, and full of cultural pride. This app is my small way of giving something meaningful back to the community — and sharing the joy of Telugu with the world.
